Jamesflight - about the Way of St. James, flying and childhood dreams

The film documents the exciting real flight adventure in 2009 of Melanie and Andreas in their gyrocopter along the Way of St. James from Germany through France to Santiago de Compostela in Spain. The gyrocopter is like a small helicopter which can fly, become a boat and drive like a car, see also aircraft. The idea of the round the world flight in a gyrocopter was inspired by Boy Lornson's successful children's book "Robbi, Tobbi und das Fliewatüüt" in the 1970s.

The story is about a little boy and a robot, who fly on a gyroplane (called Fliewatüüt) through the world and find answers to Robbi's exam questions.
