1st Movie Scenes of a gyrocopter in "James Bond - You Only Live Twice" (GB, 1967)
Is it a coincidence or not? A part of the James Bond movie "You Only Live Twice" was shot in the Portuguese area of Camino de Santiago, in Serra de Estrela.

1967 James Bond hunts with the gyrocopter "Little Nellie" four combat helicopters and destroys them. Even in real life, the gyrocopter offers numerous advantages in comparison to other aircrafts.
Picture: Commander Ken Wallis in his "Little Nellie". He was the "real" pilot of Little Nellie in this movie.
